Recharging and Rethinking.....Life After a long Holiday

Sometimes in life, you never know what can occur. Life has a way of humbling you and making you change your perspective on things and your attitude towards people. So I took a few months off from work back in December of last year to visit family in Nigeria and to ultimately get away because I finished my Masters earlier in the year and I was working at the same time as well. I was exhausted and I needed a break! It was one of the most life changing experiences to say the least. It made me rethink and reconfigure everything in my life. My mind started pacing and I started thinking about my blog and I know this sounds so cliché, but I honestly thought to myself, what is my purpose? I know I am meant to be doing something more in this life and I have a higher calling, but what is it ?! I still battle with this question after those months and to be quite truthful, I am unsure if I will figure out any time soon. So here I am, writing. Something I loathe while I was in school because I had written countless research papers and I thought to myself "My goodness, I cannot wait until I never have to write another paper again" 

I will try not to make this one of my research papers and try to be concise. As Oprah would say, I got my "aha moment" just laying on my couch. I thought to myself yes I love fashion and I love blogging and I love taking photos and it makes me feel good, but how can I help others feel good about themselves while adding substance and value to Style of A Queen? which is one of the reasons I have not been consistent with my blogging. I ultimately believe that everyone has a purpose in this life, whether you are big or small, black or white, rich or poor. We were all placed on this earth for a purpose and I believe in my heart of hearts that everyones' purpose collectively is to help each other. I am here to incorporate more content into my blog by sharing personal experiences and giving my readers my point of view on certain situations, while encouraging input from others. Some of these topics may vary from Education to Family to getting that job you want or not getting the job you want. Basic life scenarios or just life lessons I have learnt over the years. Fashion still makes a huge impact in  my  life, but I will be talking about more. Stay tuned. Xxx.
