Office chic-How looking good in the office made me feel good.

Happy Thursday guys!

We are almost to the end of the week, just one more day, we got this ! So this post is going to take me back to my office days and when I was sitting behind a desk. Now we all know, it can get a bit mundane and a bit boring- depending on what line of work you are in! For me I was at a desk answering calls, doing financial stuff in the world of banking. Now my work was a bore, but I’ll tell you this much, my outfits were never! I hate to brag, but actually I will- I was the most stylish person in there! For me personally, I tend to overdress wherever I go because that’s just me and I truly believe in the saying “You never know who you are going to meet” so for me why not dress the part and just look exuberant and radiant no matter what. So because I hated my job so much, I made it a point to always overdress and throw some color on, no matter what, because honestly it made me feel a LOT better! I dreaded waking up to go there so I made the best of a situation and made myself happy with my outfits.

It’s crazy to say that it actually worked but it did! It made my job more bearable because I liked how I looked and it made me feel good! So from that day on, I never took for granted the impact fashion could make in my life! This post is for all the ladies and fellas who work in an environment that is difficult. My advice hang in there until you are able to make your dreams a reality, but in the interim, be the fashion killa that you are. Cheers to the weekend. Xxx
